1. You can call friends in your own country and many countries around the world. Click where does it work? to find out which countries.
2. For every friend or group you invite, you get a new local Talkster number and your friend gets a local number in their country too. You both get sent these numbers by SMS, but if your friend is not on a mobile phone, you'll need to tell them the number before you can call each other.
3. Enter your name and number, and your friend's name and number. Numbers have to include the Country Code (1 for the USA and Canada, 44 for the United Kingdom, etc.). If you want to invite more than one person onto the call, click on the link to "add someone else", and you will be able to add up to 5 friends for a group call!
4. Once you click on "Call", you will get a confirmation message with your Talkster numbers. You get a local Talkster number for your friend and your friend gets a local Talkster number for you. If you are using mobile phone numbers, Talkster will also send an SMS to you and your friend(s) with your Talkster numbers for each other.
5. Talkster gives you a local number for your friend or group of friends, no matter where in the world they are. You call the local Talkster number that we've given you whenever you want to speak to them.
If it's a call with just two people:
1. Call your friend using your Talkster number for them
2. When your friend answers, tell them to call the number in the SMS they were sent or look at the incoming CallerID on their phone. You stay on the line, but tell them to hang up and call you back on that number.
3. Your friend hangs up and dials back, using the Talkster number for you.
4. You are connected and begin talking for FREE!
TIP: Save the number in your phone's address book. Next time you want to call it's as simple as dialling the local number and saying "Call me back on Talkster!"

You can get a Talkster number for a friend, or group of friends, and use it from a landline. Go to www.talkster.com on your PC and all you have to do is remember to use that phone number when you are asked to enter your number. Whenever you want to make a call, just dial the same local number you got for your first call from the same landline phone.

You can use Talkster to chat with up to 5 friends at once! Normally when you set up a group call with your mobile, you end up paying for several calls at once plus long distance charges. With Talkster, the long distance call is free and it's just a local call for everyone.

Once you have added as many people as you want (you can add up to 5 friends), click on Call to start. You will receive a local number for this conference.
